Introduction

The people who lived near the Indus River first began on 3000 B.C. in an area in modern-day Pakistan(as seen in the picture above the title). Most of the material the people used was ancient bricks to make houses.

Then by 1500 B.C. the Aryans invaded the subcontinent,(as seen in the picture below),(a subcontinent is a distinguishable part of a continent). Then by 1500 BCE(before the common era) the people who made the marvelous cities disappeared. No one knows what happened to them. Some might say it is because the soil gave out and they could not survive. They are many possibilities.
